centron announces developer competition for GPU applications
AI-Challenge by centron: Developer Contest for High-Performance GPU Applications with Rewarding Prizes
centron, provider of innovative colocation, cloud and managed server solutions, launches its AI Challenge. In this contest, developers from the fields of AI, machine learning, big data, CAD, 3D visualization or high-performance computing compete against each other with their projects. The winner will receive a Lance 1 GPU server with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 free of charge for the duration of their project as rewarding prizes.
We went to market with our 2020 GPU server portfolio. Our vision was to offer attractively priced and highly flexible solutions to users who need a lot of performance on demand. We have succeeded in this. Today, one year later, companies and organizations from all over Germany are using our GPU servers for a wide variety of high-performance computing applications. We would like to celebrate this! Therefore, we have created the centron AI-Challenge to simply say thank you to the community.

How the centron AI Challenge works
Developers, freelancers and research teams can apply for the centron AI Challenge with their IT project. The only condition is that the project comes from areas such as AI, machine learning, big data, CAD, 3D visualization and high performance computing. Or, to put it simply, draws added value from GPU server technology. An expert jury evaluates all submissions based on the criteria of benefit, innovation, technology and future viability and thus determines a winner. The winning project will receive a Lance 1 GPU server with NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 graphics card from centron free of charge.
Support for media relations
In addition to the free use of the GPU server, the winner of the centron AI-Challenge can expect extensive support in media relations. centron uses its media channels such as social media, company blog and trade press network to increase the awareness of the winning project.
