Based on Hyper-V, our technicians create an image of your system for you, which is compared and updated every fifteen minutes during operation.

cProtect replicates the VMs in its own environment and creates a consistent backup of the VM every 15 minutes. 15 + 1 statuses are generated, ie the 16th status overwrites the first status. In the event of a failover, the replication VM is used so that the smooth operation of the application running on the server can be guaranteed again after a very short time.
By default, cProtect creates a backup every 15 minutes. This allows you to jump back in time by up to four hours. On request, up to 24 hours are also possible here. This option is particularly effective against ransomware, cryptotrojans and other malware.
cProtect is our low-cost, yet highly effective cloud alternative for your own failover cluster. cProtect offers you 100% reliability. It protects your systems from unwanted downtime caused, for example, by configuration errors, cyber attacks or hardware damage.
cProtect reaches its limits if the infestation is not noticed quickly enough. If you want to be on the safe side here, we recommend our Managed Backup. Based on a previously defined backup plan, we regularly create backups of your systems and keep them for up to four weeks. This gives you the best protection against insidious infections that only become active after a few days or weeks.
